Sachin Tendulkar is an international cricketer with world fame who captained the Indian National Team. He took up cricket at the age of 11. He received Arjuna Award in 1994 for his outstanding sports achievement. He received the Khel Ratna Award in 1997 and Padma Shri and Padma Vibhusan awards in 1999 and 2008. BCCI appointed him to Cricket Advisory Committee in 2015. In 2014, he received Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.
