Dale Carnegie quit sales in 1911 to become a Chautauqua lecturer. His first collection of writings was Public Speaking: A practical course for Business Men ( 1926). He shot to fame with his book “How to win friends and influence people?”. By the time of Dale Carnegie’s death the book had sold almost five million copies in over 31 languages.
