PV Sindhu
PV Sindhu, India’s star badminton player, won bronze in the Tokyo Olympics by defeating China’s He Bing Jiao in straight games, earning her second consecutive Olympic medal and making us incredibly proud. The sporting community has hailed Sindhu’s second Olympic medal. After a straight-game triumph over the world no. 9 on Sunday, Sindhu became the only Indian woman to win two Olympic medals.

Lovlina Borgohain
Borgohain is the third Indian boxer to have a podium finish. She is also the third Indian boxer to earn an Olympic medal, following Vijender Singh and MC Mary Kom. Both of them began cautiously, but Surmeneli, the defending world champion in the division, won the first round by a score of 5-0 to get an early lead.
Vandana Katariya
Vandana Katariya has become India’s first female Olympic hockey player to score a hat-trick. During the Pool A match, Katariya’s outstanding performance helped India defeat South Africa 4-3.
