Luc, our 2nd year student of MBA Sports Management and passionate about motorcycling since his childhood will have the honour of participating in a sporting project of international scope: The FIM EWC Motorcycle Endurance World Championship. The event will take place over the weekend of December 14, 2019. It is an 8-hour endurance race, which will take place in Sepang, Malaysia.
This event represents a lot for the team because this year we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of National Motos. We are now a real institution; we have participated in 178 races around the world. Each year, nearly 30 volunteers bring the spirit of the 55 (number of our motorcycle) to life and more than 150 pilots have raced for us.
National Motos is also a state of mind: perseverance and surpassing oneself. Since 1971, we have relied on volunteers who come on their holidays to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Bol d’Or.
National Motos is the oldest team in the World Championship, engaged in motorcycle endurance since 1971. The team won the 2006 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the team has many podiums as well as the participation record in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Bol d’Or.
Being the grandson of the creator of National Motos (Pipo Haddadj) and the son of the current director (Stéphane Haddadj), this adventure is very close to my heart. I have been part of the team for a few years and I have always been the 1st supporter of my father and my grandfather.
It is the 1st time that we go to Malaysia and that we participate in an Asian round! Personally, I am impatient to be there, we know that we are going to venture into the unknown, suddenly. We are not sure of the result of this race. But above all, it is a magnificent human adventure and a great gift for those who accompany us.
We wish Luc and his Team to live a great adventure!
